The issues that we will discuss on Wednesday of this week are:

 

(1)    
whether we need to include in our requirements
discussion terms to lump together the various information exchanges included in
the use cases or to dispense with such terms altogether and

(2)    
what names to give to those terms

 

Those in favor of including such terms believe that it is
necessary to use some terms of reference such as filing assembler, filing
review, and court record to refer to the ways in which exchanges are organized
in the real world today.

 

Those opposed of including such terms believe that use cases
should merely describe the messages and exchanges themselves without prematurely
superimposing organizational concepts on them.

 

I invite advocates for the opposing points of view to more
fully present their arguments in postings to the Court Filing Blue Drafting
Subcommittee list.
