OASIS is providing Subversion; a server based Configuration Management
System for use by its TCs. It is currently in beta use at OASIS. It
appears to be in active use within corporations and a number of open
source efforts. 

Based on a documentation review I believe Subversion is sufficient for
our source document maintenance needs. It may some build and packaging
support for deployment as well, but that is more dependent on the OASIS
environment then on Subversion.

I recommend that we begin an experiment to load ECF 3.0 into it. I will
be willing to help in such an effort.
