If you have not already submitted your nominations, please see the email below for specific due dates.Â

The LegalXML Member SectionÂSteeringÂCommitteeÂhas appointed and elected representatives that require your review this year.

All 5 TCs must reconfirm your TC representative (or select a new one) and report your vote toÂÂlegalxml

before September 27.

There are also three at-large seats eligible for nomination.ÂThese at-large members provide for community-wide representationÂ

in addition to theÂcommittee-specificÂrepresentation on theÂSteeringÂCommittee.

Nominations for the at-large seats start on September 13 and will close on September 27.ÂÂ

NOTE the policy does not provide for the nomination period to be extended--all nominations MUST be received by September 27.

You may nominate yourself or any current Member Section Member by email toÂ[email protected]Â

Nominations must be accepted by the nominee, by email to bothÂ[email protected]ÂandÂlegalxml-open.orgÂÂ

Nominees are encouraged to share some background information to help the voters know who they are.

If there are more than three nominations, voting will take place 1-15 October via a closed ballot.Â

Otherwise, the at-large candidates are automatically selected and will hold their seat for one year.
