Don -- I attach a revised proposed amendment to the Rules of Procedure.  The
lawyer in me cannot resist the urge to make the proposal cleaner and shorter.  I
added one new idea -- that the at large members cannot serve more than three
successive terms.  I did not include the requirement that Steering Committee
members be OASIS members.  That is still in section a of the Governance section
of the ROP and does not need to be repeated.

I vote in favor of the proposal -- whether in this form or in the form in which
you drafted it.  As a lawyer, I would feel better presenting this streamlined
version to the OASIS board for approval.
