should have been setting you up as chair and me as secretary as we were
meeting. 

 

I wanted to be sure that covering "travel" to get us to New Orleans means
airfare, hotel, ground transport, and per diem. Am I correct? Can't go
without at least the transportation and lodging being covered. (I was very
pleasantly surprised to hear John Messing initiate the idea for that!) I
just reserved the Marriott for myself for four nights, assuming we all mean
to be there for both days of symposia and then two days of our own meetings.
Please correct me if I have misunderstood anything.

Congratulations on your election! We really have needed you in that Chair!
