Folks,
It looks OK to me. I have to admit that
the libertarian side of me is a bit unhappy about making it any easier to pass
around people’s Internet usage information, but I suppose that, in this
era, it may be in order.
The classic question is if measures like
this make it easier to catch the ‘bad guys’ or if they simply create
an ever-wider net of people being observed. I suppose that it will always be a
bit of both. Still, I hate to think of what McCarthy or J. Edgar Hoover would have
done with this. I also wonder how far away their successors are.
