Proposed
2005 Strategic Objectives

                 



 Support the work of
     Member Section Technical Committees by  providing advice & 
     assistance as needed to improve their productivity





 Provide financial
     support for the activities of Member Section Technical Committees as
     needed and appropriate





 Serve as the liaison
     between the Member Section and the OASIS Board of Directors and
     management, providing input on behalf of Member Section TCs and members on
     OASIS policies 





 Partner
     with the consultant hired by OASIS in the effective support
     of  OASIS LegalXML TCs especially in the understanding of the development
     cultures and outside factors that affect each TC. Monitor the performance
     and assess the continued value of the consultant hired by OASIS to provide
     technical support for Member Section Technical Committees





 Ensure that the
     Steering Committee continues to provide leadership for the Member Section
     and its Technical Committees





 Maintain the Member Section
     Mission, Vision, Goals, and funds allocation policy statements





 Develop a brochure
     on Member Section activities and a periodic newsletter reporting on
     Technical Committee activities and policy recommendations
