Scott ... the LegalXML SC is meeting tomorrow. We postponed 1 week due to availability of the SC members. We will discuss this as an agenda item. We did respond to Dee's email re: the ROP agreeing with her suggested language. We will try to nail that language down in our meeting tomorrow.
The SC and LegalXML are active. The ECF TC continues it's efforts to have the ECF spec approved as OASIS standard and is now discussing it's next challenge which would be to address ways to define metadata contained within the body of actual court pleadings. There may be another version of ECF in our future.
We have at least 2 members of LegalXML giving talks at the NIEM Training conference soon, and Monica is leading an effort to form TC's in a couple of different areas (RuleML and ParliamentXML).
The LegalXML SC is indeed active. I'm not sure why the Board continues to think we are not, given the above activity in addition to all those things I pointed out in previous emails to Mr. Liscia.

I am concerned that this issue hasn't been addressed since the last email nearly a month ago, andat first review your scheduled meeting of 13 April may have come and gone unnoticed. (apologies if my review of the mail archives did not reveal your activities)
But with the Board concerned about the energy available for the Member Section and StC activities--this is not a good time to go dormant on the lists.
Can you give me some good news to bring to the Board this week? All I need is a quick update.
