Hi Laurel,
I recall that the StC had allocated all MS funds for 2014 – so you would need to consider re-allocation if the StC decides that this event should replace one  that was previously identified. The most important thing to keep in mind, the StC will need to take a vote to re-allocate the funds to support this event ( http://www.ipu.org/splz-e/eparl14.htm  ) over RuleML,  http://www.ecai2014.org/ruleml/  or Jurix 2014,  http://jurix.nl/announcing-jurix-2014/  . We can talk further on the call.
I think these are all great opportunities for exposure for the LegalXML TCs.

Yes, was planning to do that once I heard from all members that they’d be able to make it. I usually add the meeting invitation through the OASIS calendar.

Dee – as long as you’re on this thread – are there any constraints or cautions regarding sponsorship of a SC member to a conference?

For me it is ok, May 6th 12.30-13.30 EDT.
I would like to include in the agenda the following three topics:  - request to sponsor the Seul conference of WORLD e-PARLIAMENT CONFERENCE 2014, promoted by Inter-Parlamentary Union (see the letter in attachment). My request for the LegalXML-SC is to cover partially the cost (500 $) of the trip, the rest will be covered  by my personal research funds from UNIBO (1000 euro). This conference is very famous and the intention is to promote primarily LegalDocML outcomes and the others connected TCs (LegalCiteM, LegalRuleML);  - new Tara contract for LegalRuleML;  - new Veronique and Grant contracts for LegalDocML.
