I don’t want to waste my or others time if we don’t have a committee.
Once that is done, I can set up a GoToMeeting conference call for the SC for a date and time in the very near future. I will also compose a draft agenda for the call.
So if you are an SC member, please respond to this message so that we can begin to compile the list and set up a date and time in the very near future for our first call/meeting.

Cathie asked a draft of the LegalXML budget within Dec. 1st. for incorporating it in the OASIS budget.
I am approaching to open a call (28/11 12:00pm to 01:00pm EST) in LUCID (a new very effective tool delivered by OASIS Staff) in order to manage the call.
Concerning the LegalDocML and LegalRuleML budget requests I would like to submit the following needs (also included in the Cathie excel file):
- LegalDocML: dissemination material 2,000$ + Face2Face meeting and events 1000$ (Summer School in USA, in ITA, JURIX2017);
- LegalRuleML: technical contract for maintaining the schemas 2,500$ + Face2Face meeting RuleML2017 500$;
- to pass the budget not spent in the current 2016 year to 2017 because we have some delay in both TCs (LegalRuleML 3,500$ and LegalDocML 2,500$);
- the doctoral prize will be released on 16th Dec. 500$ Jurix2016, Nice, FR

Dear Steering Committee,
I have attached a copy of the 2017 estimated funds spreadsheet that was sent via email on Oct 19th,
to assist the StC with planning and funding activities for the upcoming year. Please be aware that I need
your preliminary spending plan by
December 1st
so I can incorporate it into the overall OASIS budget.
My suggestion would be to outline the known activities, travel, events, and other support that you have
discussed in the past months. Do not be concerned about spending all the funds, any unassigned funds
will carry over into the following year to fund future activities. And if unplanned activities come up during the year
and there are sufficient funds to cover them, they can be incorporated into the forecast.
