OASIS Members,

Nominations are open for one seat to the Board of Directors [1] to fill a vacancy created by a recent resignation.   Nominations will be accepted until 18 November. The nomination process and all related deadlines are now posted [2]  The winner of this election will hold a seat until July 2016.

The OASIS board is filled by nomination and the vote of OASIS members.  I encourage all members to review the qualifications posted and what factors are important to you in selecting your leadership.  Consider who you would nominate, and if you would serve if nominated.

While few members can serve on the board, all members have a role in selecting board members and thereby guiding the organization. So I hope you too will be a part of that.
