Correct - almost all the information on a TC is publicly visible. The calendar and its events are publicly visible, read-only.
TCs are certainly free to use Webex or GoToMeeting or other conferencing tools if they have access. OASIS doesn't have a conferencing system of its own for TCs - TCs have to make their own arrangements.

Are you saying the meeting invites are publicly available?
IIRC a member login was required to access it?
there's no way to stop this from happening.
Webex? GoToMeeting?
More capable conferencing system?
Whence the work-around which seems to be unfortunately
needed...

Please do so. Leaving incorrect information
in the invite is not
helpful in any way.
Apologies for any frustration
caused. Circulating the participant code separately
is an additional administrative overhead and far
from idea.
Since you were on the call, I
assume you now have the correct code ?
