[OASIS Issue Tracker] Updated: (MQTT-140) 1.3 Non-normative references
[ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/MQTT-140?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:all-tabpanel ]

Richard Coppen updated MQTT-140:
--------------------------------

    Affects Version/s: 3.1.1
          Component/s: edits

I believe the template we received from OASIS had the acknowledgements section under Chapter 1.
Agree that it should be clearly marked and presented separately to the references, but should conform to the template.

Need to verify with the template received.

> 1.3 Non-normative references
> ----------------------------
>
> Key: MQTT-140
> URL: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/MQTT-140
> Project: OASIS Message Queuing Telemetry Transport (MQTT) TC
> Issue Type: Bug
> Components: edits
> Affects Versions: 3.1.1
> Environment: Structure
> Reporter: Patrick Durusau
>
> Acknowledgements are required by the TC Process but locating them under 1.3 Non-normative references seems a bit odd. ;-)
> Suggest making an Appendix, label it as non-normative and list all contributors there.
> I marked this as "major" because references determine how users understand a specification. Errors that may be minor elsewhere are major when they occur in references.
