FYI, the official process is:

1. the TC moves to request the TC Admin to conduct a Special Majority ballot to approve joining the member section.

2. If that ballot passes, TC Admin will forward a request for a Special Majority ballot to be conducted by the member section steering committee.

3. If that ballot passes, you're in :)

Membership sections allow TCs to be grouped together in areas of common interest. Membership also gives us access to an OASIS blog and other areas of share. A general description of a membership section can be found at

We had many concerns about public discussion and OBIX promotion that can be better addressed within a membership section. I’d like to schedule a meeting at the usual time next week.
