1)Pre Grid-Interop conversation and SGIP (Smart Grid Interoperability Profile)
2)v2: Re-chartering?
Defining standard contracts appears to be outside the scope of the initial charter. It also creates the possibility of multiple sub-committees each submitting their specifications at different times on different schedules. 

Smart grid activities willincreaseths focus on this need.

Do we need to create a separate charter for contracts (or for v2) that references the current 1.x as its base interaction pattern?
