Sounds fine by me - I'm a yacc/bison/antlr person and have been known to go overboard on BNF now and again :-)

 

Let's amend the most recent doc to cover this by  removing the last character (pipe or vertical separator) at
 the end of line 1193 and removing line 1194.   I'd be happy to modify the word doc myself but do not have a mechanism to generate the corresponding PDF (yet).

 

On an off-topic note - I had lunch with Dave Richards yesterday and he asked me to pass on his greetings to the
 group.

That looks pretty good me.  My only comment:

- I'd probably leave the grammar in 8.1 alone, since it is a little confusing (in this case I think the [facetValue] production of custom facets is just 

Toby's change which messed up code blocks and turned them into bullet lists also still needs to get fixed.  I am not sure what Toby's version actually was - looks like nothing but alignment changes, in which case we might be better off branching this change
 off the previous version.
