Potential Motions

 

1)     I move that the OASIS OBIX TC issue oBIX Version 1.1 Working Draft 38 and its associated XML schema packaged together in the oBIX archive at https://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/obix/download.php/54439/obix-v1.1-wd38.zip as oBIX 1.1 Committee Specification Draft 03 and further direct the Chair and Secretary to perform any actions required by the TC Administrator to accomplish that issuance as soon as practicable. We further direct that the PDF version of the specification is authoritative. 

 

2)            I move that the OASIS oBIX TC approve submitting oBIX Version 1.1 CSD 03 and its associated XML artifacts as requested in the previous vote for a 15 day public review and further direct the Chair and Secretary to perform any actions required by the TC Administrator to accomplish that issuance as soon as practicable. We further direct that the PDF version of the specification is authoritative. We further direct that the Public Review be linked to and simultaneous with the public reviews for the following associated specifications. We further direct that the references in the specification be aligned so that each references the other properly:

             Encodings for OBIX: Common Encodings Version 1.0 CSD 03

             OBIX: REST Bindings Version 1.0 CSD 03

             Bindings for OBIX: SOAP Bindings Version 1.0 CSD03

3)            I move that the OASIS OBIX TC issue Encodings for OBIX: Common Encodings Version 1.0 Working Draft 14 packaged in the oBIX archive at https://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/obix/download.php/54482/obix-encodings-v1.0-wd14.zip as Encodings for OBIX: Common Encodings Version 1.0 Committee Specification Draft 03 and further direct the Chair and Secretary to perform any actions required by the TC Administrator to accomplish that issuance as soon as practicable. We further direct that the PDF version of the specification is authoritative.
