Not sure that OBIX-57 is the place; the diagram was updated in WD23.

The original question is "what does Range mean for a Boolean?"

WD38 Section 4.3.1.1 does not quite answer this question. The fact that range is optional is irrelevant to "not present in the contract definition". WD38 11.2 shows an example and definition in the Core Contract Library which appears to answer the original question.
