Committee Specifications

I am considering voting the Ancillary documents out as Committee Specifications. There is nothing we are currently discussing in the Core Specification that will change them in any way. The core spec has bogged down in details about tags, and possibly schemes, and may stay there for a while. Voting Committee Specs will trigger the OASIS IPR policies, allowing people to make full use of them.

 

I had initially resisted this approach, but then I had thought we would vote out the core spec for an additional review the first week in January.
