[OASIS Issue Tracker] (ODATA-784) Need to specify the behaviour of arithmetic operators on Decimal type

Michael Pizzo commented on ODATA-784:
-------------------------------------

To what extent do we need to specify this?
Can we say the result is a decimal of sufficient scale?
Is it dependent upon the defined scale of the data types or the actual numbers?
If the expression is used in a $filter, and some of the operands result in an overflow and some do not, how is that handled?
