6. RAPID
 Profile for OData [8:50 am]
next week or whenever we get to it.

 

 

A) We discussed the syntax (and need) of applying annotations to parameters and return types.

But there is a relatively long list of “annotation applicability” and we should review which ones RSDL should supports.

 

Inspired by Ralf’s feature list I created the list by copying from the standard and adding a status column

odata-rapid/annotation-applicability.md at annotations · oasis-open/odata-rapid (github.com)

we should review and decided which should and shouldn’t be supported.

The ones already supported in the most recent PR are already marked with a checkmark .

 

 

B) Should we support importing CSDL document into a RSDL document?

 

Recently Ralf suggested a annotation term defined in 
https://github.com/SAP/odata-vocabularies/blob/master/vocabularies/Common.md

 

As of today, only the oasis defined annotation terms are supported and annotation terms can not be defined in RSDL.

We could of course allow to define annotations terms but a solution that keeps RSDL simple is to allow to import the CSDL schema with the annotation terms directly (which would then allow to import any CSDL)
