[office-formula] 3.3 OpenDocument Calculation Settings - RegularExpressions

I see that the current draft has this note in section 3.3 regarding table:use-regular-expressions:

        TODO: Check that the use-regular-expressions is sufficiently defined in Volume 1.

Do we have a JIRA item tracking this work?  I'd like to see more detail about what types of regular expressions are supported for string comparisons and searching.
