If we have a few documents but still 1 basic test method, I think that sounds acceptable. I'm not sure we have any other option given that ODF is not just text formatting and incldues spreadsheets and presentations as well. So I agree.

It is not clear to me that a single ODF document can
be comprehensive. In particular, there may be mutually-exclusive
options at the document level. Spreadsheet grid is either on or off,
presentation are in autoplay or they are not, etc.
