Following the many positive responses
to this suggestion from Liaison Subcommittee members, the SCA-J TC has
resolved to formally request the Liaison Subcommittee's agreement to making
this exchange of weekly call time slots, starting in the week of 4th August.,
with an SCA-J call from 8 to 9 am PT on August 4 and at the same day/time
every week thereafter.
I'm on vacation next week, so Mark will
make the necessary arrangements when he receives formal confirmation that
the Liaison Subcommittee has agreed to this change.

Timing of Liaison calls
I have received a request from some
sca-j TC members in Eastern Europe to try to find a different time for
the sca-j TC calls, because of the lateness of the current call time in
their time zone.
It seems that almost every slot in the
week is occupied by some other OASIS call. Given this, it seems that
a possible solution could be to swap the sca-j calls with some other OASIS
call that does not involve Eastern European attendees.
Would members of the Liaison Committee
be willing to move the LSC calls from Monday at 8am PT to Thursday at 10am
PT? This would allow the sca-j calls to move to Monday at 8am PT,
which is a convenient time in Eastern Europe.
