RE: [opencsa-ms] J1 panel session
I agree that the "other" David Chappell would be a good
choice.

If there's general consensus that he's the one then I'm happy to
email him. But at the moment we've got about 4 different people who could do it.
The last thing I want to do is reach out to him only to cancel later :-)

Mark.

Just a thought -- Has anyone considered asking David
Chappell (the "other" one) to moderate for a second year? He is neutral and
did a great job last year. Personally, I think it would be interesting to hear
his view of progress made over the past year.

Due to the late notice, he may not be available at this
point; however there is a possibility that he may be attending JavaOne anyway
and would willing to moderate again.  His e-mail address

All,

If you want a
moderator that understands SCA, but is from neutral 3rd party with no SCA product offering, I
will put my name in the hat.

Most of you do not
know me so a one sentence bio. 30 years dev experience; large and small
companies; java and c; client and server; standards work and various
presentations mostly in the XML and security
  spaces.

I am already
registered and planning on attending, moderator or
  not.

Thanks,
  Ken.

Agree. It would be
preferable to have someone from outside the SCA circles for _moderating_ the
  panel discussion!

OK, everyone who got back
to me is in the process of being added to the panel. We need a host
though: someone to drive the debate. It could be one of the panel I
      suppose.

Apparently panels can have 6
      speakers.
