Moving on

Dear Open CSA Members

I wanted to let you know that at the
end of May, I plan to take a career break from IBM and the IT industry
and hence will be leaving IBM's employment at that time. Some of you may
know that my wife passed away a few months ago, hence my imminent lifestyle
change. I will be formally resigning as Secretary of the Open CSA Member
Section Steering Committee at that time, opening an electable position
on the committee.

Mike Kaiser will be permanently taking
over my business and relationship responsibilities for SOA  on behalf
of IBM; he has already deputised for me very effectively over the last
few months. I hope that you'll allow me to give him a little plug as IBM's
candidate in the forthcoming election!
