Google turning away from PKCS #11

Hi Guys,

There's no P11 in Android and it is not mentioned in U2F
(http://fidoalliance.org/specifications/download) either.
The following Google road-map seems to be yet another step away from P11:

IMHO, The OASIS P11 TC could very well ignore the smart card use-case, it is simply not going anywhere.
The wast majority of smart card applications do not use PKCS #11, including EMV, e-passports, transportation etc.

The new stuff should be for HSMs which means that things like size-constraints is hardly a problem.

Existing smart card application continue to run.
