CKM_PKCS5_PBKD2_PARAMS - straw poll options

I'm in option that option 2 from Michael's list (= 4 from Tim's list), i.e. "deprecate + add new", is the best option to go as it will not break existing library implementations and application using them, and define a clean mechanism for future use.
Obsolete the mechanism seems a too sever action as it will break -any current implementation of this mechanism, no matter how it has interpreted the inconsistency in the specs.
