Update about Generate Random proposal

unfortunately I am not able to attend today’s call.

 

Here’s a short update on our Generate Random proposal:

Bruce send some very good pointers into the KMIP spec. We are evaluating these for a Draft2 proposal. I plan to have such Draft2 ready before the next call.

·        
I reviewed the latest NIST Draft SP800-90C for checking if/how their Non-Deterministic RNG can/should be included in our next draft proposal. Does anyone know the timeframe that NIST has in mind for the final
 version of SP800-90C, to determine whether that is close enough for including NDRNG in PKCS#11 3.0?
