I’m seeking your feedback on a formatting/style change for the PKCS#11 3.00 base specification.

 

Anthony suggested to change to formatting/style of C_nnn function calls in section 5.x from bold text to Heading 3. These then become visible in Word's Navigation pane and in the TOC, making it much easier and quicker to reach the function
 definitions in the document. Base specification WD05 as posted by Tim shows that style change for all functions in section 5.4, while leaving the old style for all functions in sections 5.5 ff.

 

I support Anthony’s suggestion. Any objections or comments from your side?

Changes:

- remove C_GetFunctionLists (replaced with C_GetInterfaceList and C_GetInterface)

- remove CK_INTERFACES

- remove CK_FUNCTION_LISTS

- remove MAX_FUNCTION_LISTS

- add C_GetInterfaceList using same semantics as C_GetMechanismList

- add C_GetInterface using optional CK_VERSION to specific specific version rather than in the string interface name

- add typedefs for the 3.0 function structures 

- add C_SessionCancel to the CK_FUNCTION_LIST_3_0 structure - it is currently missing from the header file
