Just to add a bit to John's description of my background in 
PKI.  I have been involved with design and implementation of PKI in support 
of our products and services at Visa International since since 1996.  I am 
now a member of the Visa X.509 Policy Authority and am responsible for 
establishing policy and procedures for our global PKIs as well as being business 
owner of our Visa X.509 Root CAs.  Ove the years I have also been involved 
in PKI standards groups including IETF PKIX, PKI Forum (now OASIS PKI TC) and 
the CEN/ISSS E-Sign workgroup.

I would like to nominate Ann Terwilliger as a 
candidate for the PKI Member Section Steering Committee Election. 

Ann has been very active in the work of the PKI TC 
and has been leading the work of the Lower Cost subcommittee.  Ann is 
Director of Security projects-PKI for Visa International, and  brings 
significant expertise and experience as a practitioner of PKI.  She will be 
an asset to the Steering Committee.  It is my hope that she will be able to 
accept this nomination and run for one of the Steering Committee seats in the 
upcoming election.

Ann has formally stated that she is willing to serve 
on the Committee, and I will forward her email separately.
