Tuning in to passwords

Here's another reason why single-factor, secret-key based
credentials have become even more insecure.  One quote from
the article:

``We're still using the same methods to log into computer systems
that we used in the 1960s,'' he said. ``We want to encourage people
to come up with a procedure to replace the typed password. With this
technology you could use a parabolic microphone and stand outside a
building and in 10 minutes you could start reading keystrokes.''
