Status ISO/IEC JTC1 SC27/WG5 Study period on privacy engineering framework
Dear all,
I attended the ISO/IEC JTC1 SC27/WG5 meeting this week in Jaipur to
report on the study period on privacy enginering framework
(initiated in October 2014 for a duration of one year).
The attached slides form the basis of the report (for an summary see
slide 3 and for further work see slide 34):
A strawman privacy engineering framework is sketched
PMRM is presented as a methodology that fits well in the
framework
PbD-SE is not mentioned in the report but it was discussed
(thanks to Colin Wallis for asking). PbD-SE will benefit from
the existence of a privacy engineering framework by providing an
agreed view on the software documentation requirements in a
privacy engineering lifecycle. I will integrate this point more
clearly in the next report.
The study period will continue until next meeting in Tampa (April
2016)

Cheers
Antonio Kung
