One of the challenges here is that almost every
standards body that exists has their oar dipped
into the cloud pond. The charter could potentially
provide pointers to all the work.
A number of new IETF initiatives are especially
interesting, as is the work of the Trusted Computing
Group. For global mobile networks, GSMA and
3GPP pretty much decide the infrastructure.
Then at least for the US public sector,
the work of NIST in its seven cloud groups
are key...and they don't yet include all the
CM/SCAP developments.
