Have you considered how Topic Map enabled software might also help provide an intelligible and high-level navigable layer on top of this increasingly complex information space? We do have a TC working on this field, and maybe they should be brought on board too... Like ebXML, Topic Maps is also an ISO standard: Practice what we preach (as Farrukh rightly implies...)
