RE: [ACTION] Statement of successful use of ebXML Registry 3.0 standards

Follow-up on the statements received to date.
 
Here is what I have so far on these:
Statements received and comments
*	Sun Microsystems -  I am wondering if this needs to be reworded slightly?  The certification statement needs to say that they are using it in accordance with OASIS IPR policy, not recommending it be accepted as a standard in accordance with the policy.  See the example from IBM for WSDM:  International Business Machines: http://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/wsdm/email/archives/200501/msg00017.html  "IBM Corporation certifies that they are successfully using the WSDM 1.0 specification consistently with the OASIS IPR Policy".  Here is the copy and paste from the OASIS procedures: "Certification by at least three OASIS member organizations that they are successfully using the specification consistently with the OASIS IPR Policy."
*	Adobe Inc. - Peter is working on this with their Legal dept.
*	ebXMLSoft - Received - looks good!
*	CheckMi - Received - looks good!

I have not seen statements for Galdos Inc. nor Digital Artifacts Inc.  Did I miss those?

Recall I had the ACTION to identify potential TC members that are 
prepared to make a "Statement of successful use of ebXML Registry 3.0 
standards" as required by OASIS standards approval process [1] when the 
time comes to do so.

Based on informal conversations, I have identified the following 
companies as potential candidates for making such a statement:

-ebXMLSoft Inc. - Contact: Goran Zugic

-CheckMi - Contact: Carl Mattocks

-Digital Artefacts Inc. - Contact: Diego Ballvé

-Galdos Inc. - Contact: Richard Martell

-Sun Microsystems - Contact: Farrukh Najmi

In case it is helpful to anyone making this statement on behalf of their 
company, I am enclosing the text of the statement I am prepared to 
submit formally as soon as you give us the go ahead to post these 
statements to the list. Until then the statement below is just to share 
the verbiage with others.

specifications as approved by the OASIS ebXML Registry Technical Committee.

Sun Microsystems considers that the ebXML Registry 3.0 specifications 
are ready to be submitted and accepted as an OASIS Standard in

of successful use of ebXML Registry 3.0 standards" on behalf of their 
company please let me know.

If anyone on above suggested list *IS* planning to make a "Statement of 
successful use of ebXML Registry 3.0 standards" on behalf of their 
company please confirm that with me and start the internal review 
process within your company so the statement is available when it is needed.

Lastly, Kathryn, please let us know when it is OK to formally post the 
"Statement of successful use of ebXML Registry 3.0 standards" on behalf 
of our companies. Thanks.
