[Updated Version] RE: [regrep] "Registering Web Services in an ebXML Registry" TN

Attached please find an updated version of our March 2003 "Registering 
Web Services in an ebXML Registry" TN, with updates for V3.0. The current set of 
updates extend to p.11, line 403 (rest in process). I thought I'd send out an 
in-process version in case anyone would like to comment.

 

If someone who is better at Word formatting than me would like to re-gen 
the TOC and Figures list and fix the section numbers, I would be very 
grateful.:) Please also add a revision page if you think we need 
one.

 

For the versioning example (p.9) I did not include the registry-generated 
attributes - but I can add them if anyone thinks it would be 
valueable.

 

I 
am planning to also add an example using the Content Management services, where 
a WSDL document is classified according to its contents (e.g. 
binding).

I won't be able to dial in today due to a tight 
  deadline, but I've attached the current version of the Web Services TN. It's 
  1/2 done, up to p.8 (line 251 or so). Please ignore any formatting/minor 
  content updates such as the old date on the first page, lack of revision info, 
  non-sequential section #'s etc. - those will be tackled

Please feel free to review the updated portion and 
  provide feedback, while I fast forward on the rest. I've left track changes on 
  while editing, if you'd like to see what was done.

  
 

  
Please also note that I removed the definition of Web 
  Service as I believe it is well known now. Happy to hear dissenting opinions,

I'm in the process of updating our March 2003 "Registering 
      Web Services in an ebXML Registry" Technical Note for our V3.0 
      enhancements. Early on in the current version we have a definition of "Web 
      Service" taken from the W3C Web Services Architecture, and I wonder if we
