OASIS is seeking a full-time standards development expert to join 
our
staff. The new Director of Standards Development and 
Technical
Committee Administration will maximize the ability of OASIS members 
to
create quality standards, specifications, and related documents 
that
meet both the requirements of the OASIS TC Process and the needs 
of
the international community.

Qualified candidates will possess a 
thorough understanding of the
OASIS ecology and policies and a personal 
commitment to the value of
open standards. The responsibilities of the job 
focus on providing TC
participants with necessary instruction, guidance, 
assistance, and
arbitration. In addition, the Director will help expand the 
OASIS
technical agenda by serving as a public advocate of the OASIS 
TC
Process.
