I don't understand your point.  Clarification would be helpful.

In my understanding, by (token equal) in 6.2.10, we have 

	datatypeEqual("", "token", "    ", cx1, "", cx2).

Then, by (value) in 6.2.9, we have

	cx1 |- { }; "    " =~ <value datatypeLibrary="" type="token"></value> 

This means that no whitespace strings would match

What am I missing?
