Including XML snippets has swerved in and out of discussions on annotations,
but has been soundly dismissed. For example, should we require implementers
to check for XML well-formedness as well as for compact syntax/constraints?
No. Also, XML and non-XML mixed together is not particularly nice to look
at. Nonetheless, I ask naive questions all the time, so you are in good
company. In fact, I am one of the world leaders in asking naive questions.
