[relax-ng] Altering the RELAX NG meta model

Tom Gaven and have been discussing offlist Will Provost's article about
restricting the XSD metamodel schema. See
http://www.xml.com/pub/a/2002/10/02/metaschema.html. Essentially, Will
suggests doing a redefine on constructs in the  XMLSchema.xsd to suit a
particular application's needs.

Does anyone think this is something you might do with the RELAX NG schema
for RELAX NG, that is, include
http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/relax-ng/relaxng.rng and override
certain constructs to meet an applications need?

Does anyone have an opinion on this?
