Title: F2F Meeting

Hello Everyone:

I want to again reiterate my sincere appreciation for everyone's participation at the kick-off meeting on 5-21. As one member stated to me, it is very encouraging to note that there was a wide array of representation from not only technology providers but also content owners and distributors.

A couple of quick points, as a matter of process:

1. The RLTC Secretary, Brad Gandee, will be sending out the RLTC F2F minutes. The RLTC will then have the opportunity to make and appropriate changes/additions before voting to accept the minutes at the next conference call. If you have points/notes please send them to Brad to aggregate.

2. I will update the website with the appropriate information that we went over at the meeting. I want to post the schedule of meetings. The next meeting again will be on 5-29-02 as a conference call at 12 noon EDT. The meeting schedule will be every other week on Wednesdays at 12 Noon EDT. It was pointed out to me that this may cause a problem for our members in Japan and Europe. I will try to come with a compromise. My apologies in advance...

3. I welcome the appointments of the following Subcommittee Chairs:

Governance/Liaison SC - Peter Shirling and Brad Gandee

Requirements SC - Bob Glushko and Hari Reddy

Core and Standard Extension Specification SC - Thomas DeMartini and John Erickson

Examples SC - Bob DuCharme and TBD

Profiles SC - Thomas DeMartini

Extensions Process and Models SC - M. Paramasivam ("Parama")

I will create mail lists for each SC to use for their specific work.

4. I believe Brad will also include our agreed upon action items but I want to quickly point out one:

Please send a note to the individual SC Chairs/Co-Chairs, your interest in joining the respective SC. Each SC Chair/Co-Chair should then send their list to me so that I may aggregate it and redistribute to the RLTC. This will be a line item for the agenda on 5-21.

5. Here is a list of everyone's emails that was in attendance for your convenience.  I will post these on the website also...
