Re: [sca-assembly] [ASSEMBLY-90] Clarify @promote in the context ofcomposite includes - PROPOSAL
Anish, Very good points - I've added material in both sections 5.4 and 6.4. Attached to this note. I've also corrected the name of the file which somehow had "Issue88" tagged into it rather than "Issue90". Issue mania setting in, I suppose. Yours, Mike. This is again post-include. 2) Section 6.4 Wires <wire> has @target. The value of this points to component-name/service-name of the post-included composite. -Anish -- Mike Edwards wrote: > > Folks, > > Here is a proposal to RESOLVE Issue 90: > > The value of the @promote attribute for composite services and for > composite references always takes the > form component_name/service_name and component_name/reference_name > respectively - and that the > targets identified by the @promote attribute are the contents of the > composite after all <include/> processing > is complete. > > This implies that a @promote attribute can refer to a target which is > present in a different composite, where > the original composite and the target composite are combined through > include processing. > > The following shows the detailed changes to the text to reflect this. > All changes are in sections 6.1 and 6.2 > which discuss the @promote attribute: > > > > > > Yours, Mike. > > Strategist - Emerging Technologies, SCA & SDO. > Co Chair OASIS SCA Assembly TC. > IBM Hursley Park, Mail Point 146, Winchester, SO21 2JN, Great Britain. > Phone & FAX: +44-1962-818014 Mobile: +44-7802-467431 > Email: > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > / > / > > /Unless stated otherwise above: > IBM United Kingdom Limited - Registered in England and Wales with number > 741598. > Registered office: PO Box 41, North Harbour, Portsmouth, Hampshire PO6 3AU/ > > > > > > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > --------------------------------------------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from this mail list, you must leave the OASIS TC that > generates this mail.
