Additional SCA interest

I thought this is relevant to the current discussion of SCA interest in the industry...

Oracle has recently released a series entitled "Industrial SOA" written by a group of industry experts. The SOA Blueprint chapter places SCA in the context of other enterprise middleware technologies and states:

"The ESB can also offer functions such as security and transaction control, while support of its future standard of service component architecture (SCA) is emerging as a trend."
