Test assertion doc draft 01

Both odt and pdf are attached.

I have 8 assertions in the doc to get us started. If anyone wants to 
volunteer for adding more assertions pl. send an email to the list. It 
would be pretty easy to divvy it up by sections/subsection, which would 
require only a trivial merge.

Note that I have added a 'comment' row for each assertion, which 
contains my comments about the assertion that may require changes to the 
spec text.
