The position is as you state it.  I
clarified this on yesterday's SCA-J TC call.  I said that if we have
not received a satisfactory resolution from OASIS administration before
next week's call, I will be asking for 2 other TC members to join with
me in a formal appeal.

As a point of order, according to the OASIS rules
[1], appeals are done 

by members, not TCs as a whole.

So I believe it is incorrect to state that the "SCA-J TC is willing
to 

initiate a formal appeal if necessary".

Clearly, the vote taken by the TC on a motion related to this issue 

cannot be seen as binding any TC members to participate in an eventual

appeal.
