Faceted Search. Ralph objected to representing this in terms of the Scan operation. We agreed to eliminate reference to Scan and instead simpy refer to an optional response element ; in addition, a request parameter to request faceted search results, but the response could include the element or not, whether or not the request parameter is supplied.

3. CQL.  (This agenda item added.)

Ralph objected to the use of "aliases". In 5.1, index 'allIndexes' lists alias 'anywhere' and 'anyIndexes' lists alias 'serverChoice'. But 'anywhere' and 'serverChoice' should themselves be listed as indexes. We agreed to add these two indexes. 

Discussion of Tony's BNF.  We agreed not to try to incorporate it into the CQL document at this time. After CDs are announced we can raise it on the SRU list.

The vote passes for all five documents. 4 yes, 3 absent.

Note: Rob had sent in an absentee vote in advance, approving all of the documents.   If that counts, then 5  yes, 2 absent.

Either way, a majority voted in favor for all five documents.
