some quick comments -- the filename's rev number should be -01, and if there's
some way to resize the illustrations such that it prints in portrait on an
8.5x11 page w/o truncating them, it'd be nice. Also, the doc filename should
appear within the doc.

It's clear from your msg that your intent is for this particular instantiation
of the doc to ~not~ be placed in the doc repository, but I argue that if one's
distributing something for review, that's ~exactly~ what the draft-sstc- series
and the doc repository is for. so I'd say that we put it up on the repository,
and if there's comments on it generating changes, then we do an -02 and so
forth.
