Draft Technical Committee Charter coming this week - OpenADR standardization

I will be posting a draft charter for an OASIS Technical Committee to
address the XML vocabulary, protocol, services, and interoperation
aspects of the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory's Open ADR
(Auto-Demand Response) work. I anticipate posting the draft charter by
Tuesday, February 10.

When I post the draft, I'll also post more about the innovative
collaboration we are planning between the UCAIug (a group of utilities
and utility suppliers to focus those stakeholders on requirements and
models) and the planned OASIS Technical Committee. Of course, other
stakeholders need to be involved; contact me for further information.

This draft charter posting is the next step in creating an OASIS
Technical Committee to do this work.

We will have an open discussion period on this list and gather
interested participants and stakeholders.

After a week or so, another draft will be produced that will be
submitted to OASIS  per the Technical Committee Process at
http://www.oasis-open.org/committees/process.php .
