RE: Your Proposed Dispositions

Following the meeting call, I made a few changes myself, and cleaned up some
of the proposals.

What I'd like to suggest as a process, is the following (and I copy the
other editors in on this too):

- I send these PDs to the original movers or contributors for their comment,
suggested compromise wording, etc. (TC list in copy for information);
- If we achieve a consensus among the movers, I'll submit these to you
formally;
- If any of them objects to the PD, then it's thrown back to the list for
debate, the results of which I'd then encapsulate at another round

What do you think? It might sound like an extra layer of bureaucracy but I'm
a committee man at heart: something should be tabled as a formal proposal
only when it's mature and ready for a vote and (where there is serious
difference of opinion) the lines are clear...

N.B. There was no PD in 07-29 therefore I didn't do anything for this issue.
